Descriptive Memory
Intervention type: Remodeling of a swimming pool and Outside space
Pre-Existences: Tradition Carré Bleu swimming pool with Finn gutter (done a while before) and with surrounding area fully paved with anti-slip flags.
Initially we did in the basement of this housing a gym, sauna and Turkish bath area.
However there was no direct link between these newly created spaces and the swimming pool.
On the other side, it was our client's intention of to give a new look to his Carré Bleu pool as well as to its surrounding area. There was also the intention of enjoying the pool all year round and be able to leave, for example, the sauna and take a dive in the pool without having to go trough the street.
In fact the question was to make a connection between these 2 areas: The gym and the pool.
Technically there was also to resolve the squarely issues because the ground had not a regular configuration.
The implementation of a telescopic cover became so unattractive or even impossible.
Therefore we have chosen a structure built on the place in lacquer aluminum and alveolate polycarbonate.
The overflow turned to be in mirror.
